The 2012 annual Leaders in Sponsorship conference, taking place on 10th and 11th October 2012, launched this week with a cutting-edge agenda, new “Brands-Only” forum and expanded programme.
The exclusive, invite-only event is now in its 4th year and has a track-record for bringing together the very top names in sponsorship to discuss global best practice across a range of topics, including activation, negotiation and measurement. In recent years the guest speakers have included: Adam Silver, Deputy Commissioner, NBA; Des Johnson, Global Brand Director, Castrol; Mark Waller, Chief Marketing Officer, NFL; Tara Looney, Brand Director, American Express and Boutros Boutros, Divisional Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, Emirates.
The organisers are working closely with the conference Advisory Board, comprising of, amongst others, Heineken, Chelsea FC, Sony Mobile, Ford, Lloyds TSB, Orange, Barclays, npower and Vauxhall, to build this year’s programme.
Leaders CEO, James Worrall, said “A huge amount of research goes into our conference agenda and alongside our expert Advisory Board, we have consulted extensively with our clients to select the very best speakers for 2012. He also outlined plans for a new “Brands-only” forum to complement the main agenda at Leaders in Sponsorship, “For a few years now we’ve had calls for a closed-doors forum for marketing and sponsorship directors at brands to share ideas and best practice. We’ll have a really unique environment for learning and networking, and we’re building a bespoke agenda for this community with some top speakers from the highest levels of the industry.”
The standalone conference will take place on 10th and 11th October 2012 at the Leaders annual sport summit at Chelsea FC thereby providing an opportunity to network exclusively with digital experts as well as with director level sports executives from all over the world.
With 100 delegates already confirmed pre-launch due to the exclusive nature of the content and audience, places are very limited and will only go to individuals and organisations with a keen interest or track record in this area.
