Our first dedicated sponsorship forum in sport took place on 7th Oct 2009 at Chelsea FC. Some of the leading brand executives in sport took to the stage including:

Philippe Le Floc’h, Marketing Director, UEFA; Hans Erik Tuijt, Global Manager, Heineken Activation; Peter Moore, President, EA Sports; Brett Yormark, CEO, NJ Nets NBA; Steve Cumming, Global Category Director – Sponsorship, PR & Events, Diageo; Adam Silver, Deputy Commissioner, NBA Basketball.

A dedicated audience of 300 senior level delegates gathered to hear the speakers discuss subjects on ROI in a recession; media and technology innovations; connecting fans to brands; and how to create and implement a global brand strategy.

Following extensive feedback, Leaders in Sponsorship was officially launched on the 6th October 2010 with a remit to provide an opportunity to learn from sponsorship leaders on subjects such as negotiation, innovation, activation, evaluation and the latest trends catching the attention of the leading practitioners. The conference offered an expanded programme for over 290 sponsorship professionals from 45 countries, representing 53 different brands, to share their knowledge and expertise.
